FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I book a picnic? Select your picnic package and go to “BOOK NOW”. Fill out the form completely and leave any information to help us better your picnic experience. Once we receive your inquiry we will reach out to you within 24-48 hours to confirm your booking and payment.

What payment methods do you accept? Venmo + Zelle (FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR PICNIC RESERVATIONS)

Can we bring our own food/drinks? Absolutely! Please be sure to read the terms of service below in regards to drinks. We also offer hand craft charcuterie board + boxes as an add on to any packages.

What if I don’t see any available dates or locations I want to book? Booking dates are limited but please message us! If you don’t see a location that you’re interested in please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate you.

How do I know where to find you on the day of the picnic? We will text you a map/photo of the location. If your phone allows - we will also drop a pin of the location.

Are there any other styles to choose from aside from the packages shown on the website? As of right now we are only offering picnic packages as pictured on the website. Please review the setup for each picnic package before booking. Our picnic stylist does our best to make each picnic set up different and unique. Color scheme options are in the works!

Are children allowed? There will be no additional charges for kids under the age of 10. Keep in mind that all picnic set up only accommodate two guests.

Are pets allowed? YES! There will be an additional $20 cleaning fee for all pets.

Are you able to set up for a large group? As of right now we can only set up a picnic for 4 guests max. All picnic packages are set at 2 people max. If you would like to add additional guests please inquire about it.

Do you offer custom picnic packages? YES! Please message us with a detailed message of what you are looking for.

TERMS OF SERVICE:

When booking with EVENTSBYMC you will agree to the following terms:

Cancellation/Reschedule: There will be a 25% non refundable fee. EVENTSBYMC will not be responsible in refunding the full amount unless cancelled by EVENTSBYMC. In order to cancel or reschedule you will have 7 days from your original scheduled picnic date to do so. If there is rain forecasted on the day of your picnic we will allow you to reschedule to our earliest available date.

Late arrivals: Bay area traffic is UNPREDICTABLE! Please plan ahead and make sure you arrive at your scheduled picnic time. Your event begins at the time you booked for and if you are running late it will cut into the scheduled time. We will offer a 20 min grace period and if you are not there at your schedule time then we will forfeit your picnic date with no refund. Please be mindful that we have other clients to tend to and will try our best to accommodate you.

Damages/Missing items: Client will be responsible to pay for the cost of any missing or damaged items including any additional fees that may occur. We ask that you do not leave the picnic site unattended when in progress. If you need to leave early please text/call us ASAP so we can plan to head back to the picnic area.

Location: If you would like to book at a location that requires a permit then you will be responsible for the permit fee. There are no guarantees on a specific set up spot for your location. If for some reason your location is not available on the day of your picnic we will give you the option to pick a different location. If you would like complete privacy we recommend setting up at your home/backyard. Keep in mind that we are setting up in a public area so if you intend to bring alcohol it is your responsibility to do your research on the location rules and regulations. EVENTSBYMC does not provide or sell alcohol and will not be held liable.

Covid 19 Safety: We care about our clients safety and will be following all Covid-19 precaution. If you are not feeling well please stay home. We will work with you on re-scheduling for a different date. Our staff are all fully vaccinated. We are expected to sanitize, mask and glove up for every picnic set up. Hand sanitizer will be provided at every picnic booking. All tableware items/décor are disinfected before and after every picnic booking. Pillows, blankets and all other fabrics are washed after every picnic booking.

Release of Liability: EVENTSBYMC will not be held liable relating to any injury or illness that may occur during picnic bookings. I am voluntarily participating in this activity with full knowledge of the potential risk of injury or illness that may occur. I agree to waive my rights to bring any legal action against EVENTSBYMC for any personal injuries, property damages or medical expenses.
